Zambia and NIR
Zambia is one NIRs selected strategic markets. In 2024, we formed a new partnership with the Zambian mining sector to promote more responsible and sustainable mining. Our support includes upskilling and capacity development on sustainability risk management, stakeholder engagement and grievance management as well as mine closure, aligning with international standards such as the IFC Performance Standards, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM).
